can somebody help me out with a clutch pedal that’s gone to the floor.
I have looked behind pedal and it is engaging the master cylinder properly with no leaks behind the rubber boot. I have plugged a hand vacuum pump to the slave cylinder nipple n wound it out 3 turns. Reservoir has been topped right up but no fluid coming thru at all n can’t get any vacuum action happening. I don’t wanna throw any parts at it if the issue is with the clutch linkage or clutch. All looks ok other than the pushrod from the fork to the slave cylinder is at about a 30 degree angle n seems to go into the slave cyl on one side instead of in middle. Car has been sitting a while so I can’t really tell if oil was leaking from it cos motor is filthy Does look to have been leaking
Bit lost where to go from here
Maybe undo the fluid line n plug vacuum pump into it to make sure the line isn’t blocked? The clutch linkage looks like it’s not loose
I don’t wanna buy a new slave n find there’s still no fluid coming thru
Thanks guys n girls
