I fitted a Redback 2 1/2" single system with dual rear pipes on my VP SS. Sounded great but wasn't loud enough to attract the attention of the police. I still have it in the garage and it's going cheap if you are in Melbourne. Done less than 1000km - rebuilt the motor and am piecing a full twin system together so this one is not needed. Straight bolt up to cats if your system is still stock (minor mods if it isn't)

On an otherwise stock motor the difference would be minimal. Much bigger gains to be had with a good service (inc leads and coil) + tune.
