Actually got something done again today, well two things if you count buying things.

Got me some of this -

I have heard good things about this oil from uniacidz's on his build thread. I still haven't found an oil that I'm really happy with. Oils 'aint oils blah blah blah. So hopefully this will keep the old girl happily lubed.


Also did this -

Man, That first cut into the hood lining is tough. Not physically, but mentally. Is it in the right spot, is it square etc etc. Turned out good. Really happy with it. Measure twice, cut once.
Going to get some 5 core trailer wire tomorrow and wire it all up. (Hopefully)

Turned out good Tones..im not game enough yet to try it on mine. I did put on the black grille mesh to the lower front bumper though ( without removing the bumper too :spot on Looks alot better than seeing the ac condensor and oil cooler through that gaping hole..
Liqui moly is meant to be pretty good. Used to use the oil additive but couldnt tell any difference from my usual Penrite

My v8 doesnt seem to like penrite, it rather likes the nulon stuff though.
The 6 banger doesnt seem to care whats in it lmao

The good 'ol 6 bangers.
I did own a VX V6 for quite alot of years. And it wasn't fussy at all, chuck nearly any oil in it, and it just didn't care. I did keep it serviced regularly and fixed things as they arose, but they were fairly rare.
It was a great car, really reliable, and I did heaps of km's in it.
Kinda miss it in a way, but then I start my SS and forget all about it.

Was going to ask which chain or where to get the Liqui Moly but after the above comments about the VX 6 it sounds like it doesn't matter for me.
