Hey ppls just wondering what sort of kms I should be getting from my VR SS Auto. I only get roughly about 280kms a tank on premium around the city, is that about standard? The car is stock, exhaust and all.

Hey mate thats pretty bad, you should be getting around 350kms or up from a full tank, check your ignition system, spark plugs, leads, etc. I know theres other things to check as well but im not sure what they are, a good service might help.

if you havent already done it go thru and replace ya leads, plugs, dizzy cap & rotor button, air filter, and fuel filter.

those are usually the biggest affectors of fuel usage and are not very expensive but if it hasnt helped much after that i would say your injectors are next

Or the mostly likely failure on the V8s is the fuel regulator

I get 340km to a tank in my vs 5lt and it has a bigger cam in it. I use BP Ultimate.

420/430 km`s per 64 ltr tank in my ute. 4.11 & auto

Shouldn't you be able to get 500-600km out of a long-range tank?

Not so easy for these guys Mortus, most people weigh 50 kilos more than us. That makes for some heavy feet
