Hopefully those little plastic bits have just gathered in the radiator. Water flow heads into the radiator from the top, so hopefully they are just sitting in one of the fins in the radiator core. When you change radiator over (do it sooner rather than later), make sure you tell them about the broken plastic... that way they'll hopefully give the rest of the system a good flush out (they will flush it under pressure anyway, but telling them might give them a little incentive to leave the pump on for a little longer just to be sure). Dont want those crappy little bits of junk getting to the water pump- or worse the engine itself! Personally, I'd be asking for the old radiator so I can tear it open and find all the bits to join them together like a jig saw to have them all accounted for. But then I'm anal ;).

@bradando, you might want to take the top hose off and inspect it for the broken pieces and get them out, l did a temp fix by putting on a new clamp, radiator has been changed since. No more looking for that puff of smoke at the traffic lights for me.
