i think you will find the TCC wire is shorted to ground somewhere
this will cause very similar symptoms to your description

the 2 wires for lockup (not black) are shorted while pluged in the auto but not when i pulled the loom out

maybe the solenoid in the trans is crook?
its been a long time i will look up what it supposed to measure through it

been through the diagnostics book, its says if the auto fluid get above 130 degrees or somewhere around there it lock the converter to cool it back down. 2nd 3rd 4th anything above 8% throttle which is exactly wat its doin. unpluged all the wires, swap them all around in every different combo and its either doent work at all or it does the above mentioned

tryed everything else but cant get it to work wiring was spot on so must me this sensor
