With only 80,000's that is a good find.

The HSVs if kept in good condition hold their value while a vx wont be worth much down track. However one of my nz mates informs me that you guys are less sentimental with cars and the hsv isnt much of a big deal unlike here in Oz lol.

I'm the top bidder on the low km one :) would go a lot higher if it had the leather trim.
What do you think of the one with high kms and the R8? Theres also another one down here 140kms with a few mods that's supposedly making 300kw, after having a look at a vy ss and a vt clubsport today I'm pretty confident that I'll be getting a vx ss far more modern looking and comfortable than the clubsport and better value than a vy.

VY's over here are starting to fall into the price range you"re looking at, can pick up a VY SS for anything from 11-18k, depending on condition km's etc etc.

Exactly but in NZ their holden prices suck. Parts prices are even worse. OP if you are happy with tbe VX over the others then go for it. At the end of the day you're paying for it and you're the one driving it so you should make your own decision :)

Just curious...not sure how much of a headache it is (probly a big one and not worth the effort) but how much would it cost to buy a car from aus and move it to nz?
