Hi everyone, just purchased a ZB RS.

I'm in the car industry and got it for a good price but it needs some work.

One of the issues was the touch screen has been broken purposely.

I went out and bought a replacement from a wrecker but I'm getting conflicting information - some people say it can be changed and re-programmed, others say the VIN is burnt in.

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere but does anyone have experience with this. I'm hoping not to have to go to a new unit which is $1800+ from a dealer.

The base unit has the vin not the screen.
The vin is not "burnt in" it can be changed by someone that knows how to do it.
