touch up paint for "plastics" aka grill, etc

I used some old "automative" plain label touch up paint i found in the shed to paint my front grill but after a few weeks it's started to chip, so whats a good touch paint to use on (i guess you'd call it) plastic? i've seen the ones at supercheap/autobarn but havent used them before

Mate you will need to use a plastic primer before you paint it otherwise it will keep coming off. The plastic primer helps make the paint stick
