Anyone know if it possible to buy wiring harness for towbar fitting for WK Statesman? I alreay have the short harness but would like to get one that covers from front of vehicle to join up with the shorter one I have.

Would have thought the harness plugs up to the loom in in the boot space behind the right rear light the same as regular VZ's would.

That would be great but unfortunately there is no spare in plug. Thanks anyway.

It plugs in between the right rear light and the harness.
Unplug the light, plug the tow loom in and the other part plugs into the body harness
It piggy backs onto the factory loom.

Thanks for that. Yep, have been able to plug into rear lights but now which is the best way to run trailer connection from the boot to the exterior? Hopefully able to do so without drilling, cutting etc.

You have to use a hole saw on your bumper. Yes a hole.
In case you don't know, use a couple of layers of masking tape over the area that you drill with hole saw. Stops your paint chipping off in big chunks.
Where to drill you ask?
Look at other people's cars. There.

In your boot, look for a rubber grommet, use that hole. Protect wires from rubbing bare on sides of hole.

theres a wiring grommet in the spare wheel well to run the wiring through to the outside, but i just keep mine in the boot and when its needed, hang it out the boot lid and use a blanket so it doesnt rub on the paint
