Nope cant be done, you will have to cancel the rego on the VN and just put the cash towards getting the new car on the road.

You cannot move rego from one vehicle to another... that's illegal so don't even try it.

You need to cancel the rego on one and you will get a refund some monies back.... Then get a RWC/Blue slip/Warrant of fitness for the vehicle you want rego on.

If you're talking about using the remaining rego costs to cover the new car. You would need to cancel the current rego and apply for a refund and put this toward the new rego. You cant just transfer it over from one to another. Get in touch with vicroads & they should be able to let you know the procedure.

No can do. The only way around it is to cancel the reg on car #1 and register the car #2.
