Couldn't find any buy-it-now prices on Ebay in aus but found this one over in the states. I'm wondering if thats the correct kit to fit a standard 98 VT tranny. (4L60E??)

I also baught the 2nd gear Corvette servo piston which should arrive shortly. Baught that for 60 bucks on ebay too. Hopefully if this shiftkit is the one I need, I'll be booking the car in to get them installed

i gave that dude an email, he's the man! i was just asking about a shift kit and possible servos and he said for my car i may as well buy a new trans, as those mods would just be "bandaids" untill my box went.
he can supply me with a high performance, rebuilt 4L60E, with all the bells and whistles (peformance frictions, bands, beast reaction shell, pistons and servos and whatever shift kit i want) for $1380 delivered.
thats with a stock rebuilt converter, if i want a stallie it would obviously be more, but thats a killer price for that type of trans with those mods, a stock rebuild usually costs more than that.
only "catch" is that its on exchange, so id have to send my old trans to him, but thats cool with me!

its cheap like that because he can rebuild your old one and sell it again, thus made more money

Anyone got a ball park figure I'll be looking at to get the shift kit and corvette servo installed + a basic service to the tranny?

yeah i realise thats what he does, but it doesnt change the fact that its an absolute bargain. just to buy all the heavy duty and performance parts for building it would be $400-500 at least if you were to do it yourself.

mine was 1250, performance rebuild standard stallie, new reaction shell, corvette servo .500 boost valve , high perforamce firctions 7, 3-4 clutches blah blah.
