You can buy tools for removal of similar clips. The clips on the VZ can be quite difficult to remove. I was fortunate to have access to a small metal tool designed for such use and used by Transmission Specialists. I have my doubts about some available from places like Supercheap although you could try them. Suggest you get a push-on cap from a Biro, carefully cut along the length with a sharp tool. Make two cuts about 2 mm apart. Remove the material so that what's left of the cap opens out and you can slip it over the Transmission line and push it into the small space surrounding the 'ferrule' that is a part of the connecting device. If you have the plastic cap inserted in the correct place and you apply forward pressure you will (hopefully) feel the spring clips inside
give' keep pushing and the connection will (should) come apart. Reconnection is a simple matter of pushing the parts back together. Alternatively you can simply cut (remove) the section of pipe with the connectors and use hose clamps to connect the rubber transmission lines. I prefer to disconnect the original device and keep it in place in case I wish to reverse the installation. Whatever you do, after completing the installation keep a very close watch on the installation and ensure that non of the clamps allow oil to leak out. Transmission oil onto a hot engine/exhaust can result in a flash fire. Vry dangerous and damaging.

Those will not work with transmission lines.

Just to make things clear, the PWR kit does not require the lines to be disconnected. The kit includes fittings, one of which screws into the radiator and another female fitting for the line that is removed from the radiator, resulting in 2 barbed connections which run to the cooler.
