Lower temp radiator cap? No such thing. The radiator cap control the cooling system pressure. Pressure is critical to the proper functioning of the cooling system so you really don't want to run it at a lower pressure than specified.

I've read here that mist prefer a lower temp cap, who sells them?

There are low temp or high flow thermostats which are probably what people are refering to (cap only regulates pressure, thermostat only regulates temp). Just get the OE equivalent, there's no gain to be had running a lower temp thermostat in 99% of cases, and they have the chance to cause issues as the car is expecting to see the coolant at a particular temp.

Thanks for the quality help guys. I'll grab one tomorrow. Hopefully it helps the odd issue of me going through thermostats and temp sensors..
I'll swap over the resistor with another, just incase its failing and causing the fans to not turn on...

Cheers, Gareth
