Anyone know how to calibrate a VS trip computer properly?

On the set-up menu (ignition on and hold down SET) there are three views
    1. Real-time Fuel level (in L)
    2. Dist-Cal default setting is 625. Range is 497 - ? dunno the max setting
    3. Flow-Cal deafult seeting also 625 (i think). Range is 497 - ?

Question is - if the standard setting is 625 for both the dist-cal and the flow-cal what effect does changing the two settings have?

    Calibration Information

The range of the calibration numbers is + and - 25% or so.

For distance, the higher the figure the lower the trip computer reading. It does not affect the odometer.

For fuel flow, the higher the setting the lower will be the fuel used figure.

    The changes are pro rata.

    Hope that assists.
