Does anyone know if (or how) trouble codes can be extracted from VE '09 SV6 without the diagonistic tool ? Managed to source a list of the trouble codes, just curious.
maybe try this (just a quick google search, dont know if its what you are looking for). OBD-II - On-Board Diagnostic System what you are looking for is some sort of onboard diagnostics tool, to interpret the data coming from the car. just remember though that the error codes dont always tell you exactly what the cause of the problem is... just the symptoms. a recent thread highlighted this issue perfectly, with a guy getting 1 error code but advice that it could be 3 different faults causing the same code.
