Troubles with mirror switch in drivers door!

Well its quite strange really, the switch to adjust your side mirrors is faulty. You can still select left and right mirrors and adjust both up, left and right. But when you go to adjust down there is no movement! I pulled it out and cleaned it but to no avail!

Would i just need a new switch? or maybe something deeper wrong? Just that holden want a fortune to trouble shoot it and i dont really wanna fork out to them lol
