VY SS
about to buy my first commodore all previous cars have been turbo subarus
like the VY/VZ shape and am trying to decide between 2 that ive found....

2003 VY (i think its a series one but im really not sure)
red
108,000kms
manual, pacemaker extractors,SS intake, full exhaust, 19" wheels, 10 months rego, brand new tires, immaculate condition inside and out.... owner looks after it like crazy and drives in like a granny asking 19,500...

2004 VZ

dark blue
160,000kms
stock as rock bar after market wheels 18"...
reasonably good condition few scratches here and there gear stick knob and other interior buttons faded n worn also volume up button on steering wheels is broken like all pushed in....
leather interior, forgot to check rego date....
asking 20,000

so im really stuck VZ for near enough to same price with leather interior but more ks not as good condition and no exhaust or extractors done.... n not sure if i like the dark blue or not..... the higher ks is really whats turning me away....

whats everyone's opinion on which to go for?

thanks :)

yea thats good then was leaning towards VY anyway... just thought id see what other people thought...
does 19,500 sound a bit steep for a 2003 VY SS ? taking into account sensible mods done to it brand new tyres and extremely well looked after....??

ah ok must be a series one then cause front middle lower bit is just black.... is the difference between the s1 and s2 just cosmetic then? or is there changes to performance... and other features like is it only in the VZ u can get the digital speedo in the bottom part of the speedo cluster?

hmmm extra 10kw at the engine for the s2, i think tech2 can activate the full size digital speedo but unless you know a mechanic that forked out the 15k for it then you're outta luck

missed your other question there, 19.5 is quite expensive but if its in good condition with those low k's then its probs worth it.
Also despite the fact that i love my leather it still looks 7 years old whereas my old vx with velour looked brand new and it was 8-9 years old
