Just sayin, I am lovin the quality of TTi tools, it's gonna be my defacto brand from now on I think.
1/4 inch socket set seems really nice quality. Trolley jack really good.
Usually with home brands I stay well clear, this does not seem to be the case with Total Tools tti brand. Seems comparable to Sidchrome to me and even do a bit better on the packaging quality like nice case and foam inserts etc.

I do have a question though if someone has the answer.
On all packaging there is a website
www.ttitools.com.au
Which is bizarre since there is no site at said address.

yeah, I knew that, it's just a listing of products, hardly a manufacturers website.

I bought a large TT1 trolley jack some years ago
it lasted maybe 9-10 months and then dribbled its fluid on the garage floor

to their credit, they replaced it FOC. The replacement still works fine and dandy ...

My floor jack leaks. I just fill it up every now and then. I find most TTI gear pretty ok. But I find its no cheaper than other Taiwanise made hand tools so never really bother to buy it. I do love browsing Total Tools stores when I'm in Adelaide, because we don't have a store here in Tas.

I quite like the TTi breaker bar and their extension sets.
Funny thing is I'm the opposite to you Losh. When I go into Total tools I find the store really boring and don't end up buying anything. Can't figure that out either as I love nice tools. Maybe cos all the good stuff is behind glass and I can't play with it.

I think I love Adelaide Tools and Total Tools because we have nothing like it at least in the north of Tas. Basically to buy tools here you need to go to three different shops. As none carry much range and we have no designated tool shops they all specialise in hardware of some sort with tools as a sideline. I always go to TTI when in Adelaide to stock up on consumables like belt sander belts and cutting discs because over here you pay 2-3 times as much. I rarely buy tools these days as i have almost everything i will ever need. When I was in business for myself i spent around 20k or more on tools because every tool or peice of equipment was written off on tax. Nowadays i tend to keep an eye on Gumtrees tool section because every now and then something comes up 1/4 or better price of the shop price. Picked up a nice few SH tools of GT. Usually odd items that don't get a lot of use but definitely worth keeping for the once in a blue moon time you need it.

There always seems to be more staff than customers at my local. It means I can get help whenever I want it quick. It also means I can't browse like I sometimes want to without being annoyed to make a decision lol
