hey guys,
just wondering what the go is with tuning the old buicks?
i bought an engine in bits a whilr back, it was originally built by Spencer race engines but got stripped down to sell individual parts, long story short i bought the lot and built it over a few months and now its in

it came with a memcal to suit but i am unsure if i should get it retuned to be on the safe side

mods include
cam: clive cams 48a 212/212, 470 total lift, 112L/C
comp: 40 thou off the heads, ACL pistons .020 oversize (10:1)
heads: double valvesprings, heavily ported and polished, portmatched manifold
bottom end: ACL race bottom end

soon to come pacemakers and twin cats
custom CAI

what are my options? car was dynoed at 165rwkw by previous owner, yes i have the dyno sheets
would it be best to get it dynotuned for $800-1000 or get a memcal flashed to suit for $200-300?

am i going to notice a difference given that it already had a custom memcal flashed by the engine builder?
not chasing 10sec quarters by any means just looking for a bit more poke

it already runs very well and pulls very hard for a buick

cheers guys sorry if all this makes no sense, can do just about anything mechanically, but all this delco mumbo jumbo has me walking in circles

take it somewhere for a few power runs on a dyno and get a/f ratio checked and then go from there
