Tuning ?

Hey guys I got a VF commedore I got a VCM otr in my car I’ve had it installed for about 2 months now I haven’t got it tuned yet my car is running fine no engine lights or anything bad but im seeing YouTube videos saying it’s bad to run a not tuned OTR and it’s got me worried now is that true?

if no codes are happening then its working within its limits so will be fine, usually the only codes are related to airflow and or exhaust stuff so not actual issues just past the factory ''normal'' ranges, u will have more of an issue with codes if u got exhaust and not tuned, just the intake can be fine

Is tuning a sv6 worth it would u know what figures it would come out with ?

not sure, there isnt as much u can get out of tuning the v6's and table wise within the tune are not like the LS so not as much to be able to adjust, imo for the cost of a tune u wont get the gains from it, prob only tune it if u need to

I think what the tuners for the 3.6l mean is that you may loose power running an UNTUNED OTR hence reccomending a tune but not too sure
