howdy y'all

so i got this HQ block and turbo 400 sitting here, which i was gonna build as a 355 but am changing my mind slowly.

my question is this;

if i rebuild this motor will the turbo 400 fit up to my tail shaft or will i need to get a new front section?

currently got a trimatic, 308, VK salisubry. and the stupid driveshaft with the center bearing.

thanks

damn. the wrecker sold me the block and trans as from a VB, which i believed at the time, but thinking it is from a HQ now, since no egr on heads, and single piece tailshaft...

i wanna keep my trimatic as it has been kitted and smashes into gear the way i like it :) but was hoping to build this turbo block as a mainstay till i put pistons in my 'good' engine. messing with the tailshaft just makes it one cost too many.

you would need to mod the tailshaft to fit i just had mine shortend straightened balanced new uni's for 300 worth doing as the th400 is way stronger than a tri.
