hey i was just wondering if you can turbo a carbureted enging?
yes you can, you need to modify the carby a little though
how do you mod the carby
easier to go suck through setup with no cooler i reckon.
drawing air and fuel through a hot turbo? probably not very effective
In a old holly book i,ve got it talks about enclosing the whole carby in a box, this way it eliminates the the need to modify the carby. Have said that i,ve never seen it done.
more air means you need more fuel right? rejetting and a rising rate fuel regulator? probably other stuff havent really messed with this stuff in a while
