turbo v6 , l67 bottom end or rebuilt ecotech bottom end?

yeh mmm, i was thinking about gettin a l67 motor + box ecu loom, gettin the motor + box both rebuilt i want to run some phat boost. someone said uptop l67 can handle 10psi. but i dunno how long / kms / mechanic history of the new motor so i dunno.

I believe you could probably run more than 10psi, but you might want to strengthen just to make sure. I know the FIT mule was running 20psi when it hit 440rwhp and was running 18psi for a while before that.

i want to run some phat boost. someone said uptop l67 can handle 10psi.

L67 runs 6psi standard no worries, and will happily run 10psi all day every day and last just as long as at 6.... it's when you go over 10psi (without doing other work) that you start to shorten the life of the motor. I mean 11-12 likely wouldn't hurt it but I wouldn't want to run 15psi every day without some work.

yeh true, i might as well go all out first time i dont want too many problems mechanically once its all boosted. my mate said theres a turbo v6 place in Dandenong called HPF . i need a place that can do engineering :(

There are a couple of guys on the SC forum that have passed EPA and engineering in VIC, not sure if they are on here, they might be able to help you out

the L67 is a good motor to boost after u piss that inefficient charger off :)

im sure furious can do most of your turbo gear if you ask nicely :p

im over the v6 =) im doing a 355 stroker converion in my car then im gonna supercharge that. less hassles with engineering and epa.

=) kits for sale too :rip:
