    ay guys just a quickie i have a vx v6 and was wondering if i have TWIN PISTON BRAKE CALIPERS i checked and looks like i dont but i dont really know about this sort of thing thanxs for the help

    Im 99% sure thats all they come with at a minimum, if you have anything else it would be better not worse. You could search ebay for the calipers and you'll get some pics there to compare.

    vt onwards have them, so yes you do
    heres a pic if you want to compair too just to make double kazillion sure (left is vt twin spot on vt disc, right is vl rear single spot on disc)

    All VXs should have 2 piston calipers on front brakes but only 1 on the rear.

    I could be corrected on this though!

    ALL VT on have twin piston fronts,standard.

    Bit off the topic but has anyone seen the front brakes on a series 1 AU? I've seen bigger calipers on motor scooters! Go holdens

    When the VT was released, it was a lot heavier than the VS (about 150kg more) and everybody with standard VN-VS brakes would know how inadequate they were. Holden knew that the VT had to be equipped with much bigger and better brakes. Standard brakes were twin piston front, single rear, with larger diameter and thicker discs front and rear, even on a base Exec.

    Sports and V8's brakes were beefed up again from the Exec standard. It's just a pity they didn't sort out the disc warping problem that has afflicted VT-VZ's from day one.

    yes the vx has twin piston calipers and ABS brakes (Bosch 5.3)
