Just wondering if someone could enlighten me on how the IAC Vavle works on twin throttle bodies... ! Is it even an issue?!!! I mean does it need to be rewired and then you have 2 valves - 1 in each T/B, or is one still sufficient?

I would have thought you could only have one as they would conflict with each other... Is my thinking correct? :bang:

hmm, ok just got my question answered, One of the valves is usually a dummy and is just plumbed up, so you just run one valve :)

Correct, there is the primary throttle body that runs everything IAC, throttle cable, etc.

Cheers Airstrike.

Just found out that they are illegal though which really puts a **** on things.

Vehicles manufactured on or after the 1 January 1986 (ADR 37).

"...No alterations to the engine’s camshaft, inlet manifold, carburettor/fuel injectors, air cleaner or catalytic
converter are permitted."

That sucks.

Sucks to be in SA by the looks of things. I don't see why you can't make those mods, provided they have been done properly and not just with duct-tape and coat hangers.
