twin turbo's would be different but very expensive
supercharger's i think is easier than a tt setup and is cheaper

but i like minux's advice drop a ls1 in the beast

sell it and buy a ls1....
gains from mods are greater and more stuff around for them.

i went down your path with my vt v6...was planning supercharging and all....no one could convince me otherwise....
now i sit here as a new owner of a vxII clubby r8 at the age of 22......no regrets and gald i didnt spend one more $ on the old car

there will be here that will tell you go the LS1 as i have above...others will come along with go and supercharge or turbo the six dude...it will be fully sic
its personal preference at the end of the day...but have a good think...

why drop ls1 in he wants to go faster hehehe

Exactly my point, how many 11 second NA ecocrap or alloycrap motors are out there? In fact how many 10 second NA ones are out there?

Think i've provided my point.

drop in an LS1 for sure.

Supercharging or turboing an ecotech comes with alot of problems. Its not just a bolt on job, alot of things need to be replaced to handle it.

You can get an LS1 engine for around $4k or so? You've still got another $4k to supercharge it...

Twin Turbo would be impossible on your budget for an ecotec.

At the end of the day it is your choice, but whats wrong with an bent 8?
Don't go putting twin milk bottles on it, trade it in and get the 8 and you wont regret it... Plus you can do so much more for less...
