    VT Commodore wagon exec
Hey guys.. Have a VT commodore wagon exec (downgraded from my VX manual spac series 2 :( ) and it's done a cam bearing within a week of buying it! (my life story) anyway I've gotta do something about it.. Options? In reality it's vt exec wagon.. But I wouldn't mind having a bit of fun with it.. Do u reckon it's worth dropping a nice slightly hotted 6 in? Or go a cheapie?? Anyone know some decent places around Melbourne that do commodore sixes? (I don't know heaps about cars etc so every bit of help would be appreciated :) )

Id double check just to make sure its not the balance shaft bearings instead, thats only if its been diagnosed from the noise its making, as you can just remove the drive sprocket from the balance shaft so it doesnt run any more, an easy fix. And it doesnt make the engine vibrate either when its not connected.

As above. How has it been diagnosed as a cam bearing? Has it been stripped down? Have low oil pressure?
    Cheers
