thought i'd throw a my ride thread up for my newest toy
went and looked at it from a dealer in traralgon last friday put a deposit on it there and then, caught the train up on tuesday and drove it home
so here it is a 1997 VS s series 2 with some options, 2 owner country car its entire life, coming from a vr that was getting old this is sooo smooth to drive and the modding bug has been itching for some time and there's only so much you can do to a vr.

Odo: 220586
Colour: botanic mica
Engine: stock 3.8 ecotec
Trans: 4spd Auto
Exhaust: redback 2.5inch cat back
Diff: standard 3.08
Interior: standard vs s seats electric windows, cruise
Stereo: Alpine cde 102e, alpine type R splits and component speakers, type r 12inch sub jaycar response amp
Brakes: stock front slotted rotors, abs
wheels: vr clubby replicas
suspension: IRS stock fe2's monroe gt sports shocks
Exterior: S pac body kit and boot lip
ill get some more shots up in a bit
Future plans:
customs plates
Exterior: de badge, fix the side skirts, cut and polish fog lights (maybe)
engine: Mace manifold and pleanum spacers lpg conversion
trans: shift kit stage 2
interior: Lvl 3 dash conversion statesman dash and centre console as well as seats, vy/vz eletric window switch , caprice cup holder, clear door lights calais head lining with lights in the back and maps lights in front, change the steering wheel to a airbag cover
wheels: undecided
things that need fixing:
side skirts need to be aligned, front bumper re spray( stone chips)
adjust handbrake
heavy steering
install remote boot realese
reco injectors
ac not working either button or regas
headlining ( currently being held up with staples)
wipers a bit slow
paint chips in door sills
trans could use a service
install the front fan on the radiator
install lock barrel in driver door
rubber strips on the windows so they dont rattle when closing door
