Because it was the thing to do in the 70's-early 80's, however, this is 2009....
Your so 2008 man, we are bringing the white letters back, you better spin those tyres around
I reckon a good set of tyres look good with white lettering, so what if it was a "70's thing"?
white letters look mint. id prefer them over whitewalls. doesnt suit every kind of rim though. i reckon black rims would suit them
Not a hope in hell Jason....
I'll never own a car with white lettering on the outside. I won't follow your trend....
Edit: This is the ONLY time you will see my car with white lettering on the outside (pic attached). However, if i had a choice, it would be on the inside.
that looks madness hoosier i like it
Yeah, that's what my tyres will look like if i was to use the pen. I'll try the pen first and see how it turns out and then later on i'll get the proper tyres.
Also i'll admit i'm a bit old school, and what i like now is waaay out of fashion right now, that includes other things not related to cars. Who cares if it was only fashionable in the 80's or 90's :yeah:
Although I don't like it much you did an awesome job on them, well done
Bring back the white writing on tyres I say. Nothing bad ever came out of the 70s
They should of stayed on the late 60's Camaros, Only car they half suit. They are the ugliest thing I have ever seen, I would point and laugh if I saw a Modern-ish car with white lettered tyres, But It's your car.... Everyone encouraging him..... Shame!!!
I have to say, they look **** hot on older cars...but like you said, on a newer car, anything from say....1995ish, no way.
I would love to do it instead of white walling my tyres. Doing something like that is not for everyone i agree, but some people will appreciate it, as you see.
...And my wagon is a 1993
I think on yours it'd look alright...that pic of HoZy's VQ looks damn good, but on most cars from about the mid '90s onwards...nah.
i reckon they look good, give the car some nice rake and white letters and its just tough
Hozy's tyres look like drag tyres lol
That's because they are . I've decided I'm going to arrive that the drags next season with white lettered Highway Max's all around
I haz rake & White lettering on my tyres.
225 on 15x6" @ 34psi

get some radial T/A's and write the radial t/a bit in white. that'll look mad, which car is it for??
Separate names with a comma.
