I reckon you need to keep in mind what brand of tyres you are putting the lettering on. Some of the weired stuff around these days from China and Korea could look a bit dumb.

Somehow, highlighting "Chomning Superdong" or "Mayrun Tomorrow" just doesn't seem right.

As soon as my current tyres, wear out, i'm going to put some proper white writing tyres on my car. No use pretending at this point, by colouring in the current words.

bring back white writing, its the coolest thing out! theres a red blown vk in my town with black 'ceptors and white writing on the sidewalls, looks absolutely awesome. its sitting flat so no front rake, so that was a bit dissapointing.

white writing on the sidewalls is the thing that dreams are made out of :D

those bf goodrich radial t/a tyres are the ones to get, no doubt about that. my old man had a set of them on his hg wagon back in the 80's, he reckoned they made you think your motor was a bit more grunty than before haha.

does that mean if i get white writing on the sidewalls, i need some db's?

by db's, i meant desert boots, most bogan footwear ever made. i would have no idea what the bf goodrich radial t/a's grip like compared to todays tyres..

Doubt it, Lukes mate tried a pair at the Easternats on a 400 rwkw XR6-T and smashed his gearbox to bits very soon afterwards, claiming they were as/more sticky than his normal ET streeters :p

Dunno but they were more grippy than Eagers back in the day :p so they weren't too bad. One thing you can be sure of is that they will be better than RE92s

So i've decide to get a white tyre pen (all the way from the UK!) anyway just to try it out, here is the result, i still need to colour in the other side and the oposite side of the word, there are 2 words on the same tyre (if that makes any sense)

I got 2 just incase and all up with delivery would have been around $10 I though it was worth a try for 10 bux. The colour does not stand out that much though, it should be whiter then that.

IMO it doesnt work unless theres writing on each side of the tyre, not like the images above where its just got the one bit of writing in white. i want those wheels though

Yeah it was pretty crap, and the pen feels empty there is hardly any ink (or whatever it is) in there.

Yet to do that, agree it does not look cool just yet :D
