U0101 communication with tcm was diagnosed. Took to auto elect and came back with replace ecu. Had done but now has intermittant faulty input speed sensor. Disconnect batt to reset comp. Worked ok until i turn off and start it again.
Is it worth keeping car or scrapping. Any suggestions on reasonable fix without big damage as it cost $990 to fix first issue and wonder if the wrong issue was diagnosed and go back. Need help.

if the speed sensor fault did not exist prior then
unfortunately it was probably a reconditioned ecu
and the reason that ecu was removed is still there
or it was an unknown used ecu which happened to be faulty
either way, take it back to mechanic
