Summer is here and it's dusty. I went to spray the windscreen with a recent refill of wiper detergent......and a painful dry scrape of my new wiper blades happened. NOOOOO!
We all know the change over of a wiper pump is easy and cheap right? Well, in all the other cars I have owned yes... But looking at the 6.0 V8 2008 WM Caprice engine bay - all I can see is the entry funnel and a tube that seems to lead under the air intake/filter. Looking on Ebay at OEM VE tanks and the shape of them, I fear the damn thing could be mounted under the side quarter panel or in the damned bumper!
Do I really have to remove the wheel and arch cover or front bumper, for a job that should take 20 seconds and cost $27? My 'Haynes Repair Manual' makes no mention of it (that I can find) nor Mr Google.
Please, someone tell me its under the air filter or just give me the bad news.
