Looking sweet m8. Yep i love my leather also except on 40 degree days lol..If you want to keep the luxo feel of the car a small cam like i have would be perfect for you. Its not obviously lumpy and car drives and idles like stock but you have the bonus of extra power, torque and fun when you put your foot down. Best of both worlds..and fuel usage is the same as when it was stock..have fun deciding...

I like the idea of a small cam. I don't thrash the car at all, but I've got the auto box in it to suit and the extra power would be good if I need it.

Top mount supercharger /end

that idea makes my pants tighter. it did cross my mind, but would it ruin the car as a cruiser? I don't know what to expect out of a supercharger and how it would affect the car as a cruiser.

Good job mate I do like your stato Nice subtle Mod's and I must say that I agree on a small cam in my opinion... But each to their own.. And sorry to be a kill joy but Im not a huge fan of those rims especially on your stato,With it having almost everything luxury I just think they are a little too race spec for it.. I do like your idea of the calais v wheels.. That would be my +1 But if you like these wheels then its your car you choose Just stating my opinion lol.. Nice job so far

Thanks. I like the look of the caprice v wheels. They will probably be what I would get if I ever replaced them.

Those wheels came off my old statesman - I didn't like the stock ones that came with the WK so I tried these ones on and I liked them on this car.

Yeh I have read this whole thread pretty good :spot on: And yeh definitely a upgrade from the stock WK wheels but just Calais v Wheels would keep the class in my opinion :/ But each to their own.. What are you gonna do with the old girl?

old girl as in the WK?

well tbh I'm not all that sure where I want to go yet with this car. I want to go and do a few more mechanical mods but I'm after more of a luxury cruiser with this car and not so much a performance car - as such it seems like a waste to drop cash on performance upgrades seeing as I don't thrash it or even drive it hard for that matter.

in the mean time I'm planning some more stuff for the stereo (better speakers, headrest DVD players maybe even a game console and adding WIFI internet) and some more cosmetic stuff (pinstriped rear lamps, I've got a new set of fog lights to go on the car) and maybe a Buick style grill and eventually a complete re-spray.

Fair enough.. TBH I have no Idea about the wk wm etc I just no vk-vf model's.. If that makes sense, I mean what you doing with the vr and I also meant to say big improvement from the stock wheels on the car but the calais v wheels would suit good IMO.. Not very good at this whole "English" thing but yeh...

I don't own that car anymore, my mum's other half's son has it now. it's basically the same as it was when I sold it, but it now spends most of it's time in a shed and is used as a weekender.
