- Nissan Patrol with LS3
Hey Guru's/Legends - Looking for OBD2 / Ultragauge Help:
I have an LS3 engine into a 2013 Nissan Patrol 3.0LCRD Diesel. We are using a 2014 ECU from a Holden Commodore.
I purchased an Ultraguage Blue this week and have the following issues:
1. Trouble/Fault codes - the bloody Ultra-gauge wont show them. Does anyone know the address protocols to manually pull the trouble codes ??
2. Intake Air Temp/Oil Pressure - same issue, Ultragauge wont pull data, Ultraguage support state that some 'manufacturer gauges are proprietary' and people are know to have reverse engineered the protocols/address to adapt the Ultraguage to read them.
Now I understand that many of the available gauges will not work particularly around fuel/mileage/trip data etc as the fuel level and speed (odometer) is still controlled by the Nissan ECU. This is not my concern. I am mostly concerned about the LS3 engine management systems and gauges directly from the Holden ECU.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
