Ok so I'm tired.
4 out of 5 things i did.
Still need to come up with a full proof way to make side clips of bumper sit flush.
Still thinking of ways, but in all, holes need to be drilled. and im like hmmmmmmmmm
However can get it sitting virtually flush now anyway.
1. Bumper mesh
Photos really explain it
Used 3 nuts and bolts along the top with mesh hooks that came with it.
Along the bottom, 5 hooks expoxyed in and then silicon across the top.
Prep work involved cleaning, wet and dry a bit and wipe down.
Photos bad, but will take some more later in daylight of it completed.
2. Bumper lift
Did this about what 3 weeks ago, using some old tyre material used to interlay between a front loader washing machine and a dryer on top.
Basically, cut to size, siliconed and gaffer tape onto bumper reinforcement and it lift the bumper, especially good when its been warped for a while.
3. Trans cooler Inline
Pretty straight forward.
Noticed there was some brackets already in place but not connected right so removed and just used the ones on the trans cooler
Easiest way to install, remove line from cooler, remove thermo fans and top radiator hoses and sacrifice some coolant loss.
Lift radiator a bit and feed lines though small gap
Amazed after driving a bit how hot it gets, glad its installed, no leaks.
4. 2000c Fahrenheit heat tape for CAI
Used i for the air intake, will see if makes any difference.
Came from America. Couldnt get any round here.
Intially used a heat tape to secure a halved thickness oif my old roof lining material sound deadening and heat resistant material and wrapped it round the CAI
Then used the 2000c Fahrenheit tape over that.
Hoping the roof lining material will created a barrier between the tape and any radiant heat, even though the tape can handle a hell of alot.
