    Iv got a VX s2 5.7
An orange light is coming up under the speedo, looks sorta like a bucket with water in it with a little opening up the top.
I dont have an owners manual and unsure what the light means, Just came on yesterday.
I changed my coolant on the weekend and havnt driven the car since, my mechanic room mate reckons it could be that????

Did you put the right coolant in? Running standard coolant sets this babies off like a mofo.

I know it wasnt cheap stuff like from a supermarket or nothing,
my mate is a mechanic and said he asked the boys at work what stuff was best for V8 and got what they suggested
Ill check sarvo if maybe it is just low, if not and the light is still on. I can do another change if my coolant is wrong.
    What coolant would you suggest?

    Cheers

Well cheers for the reply, I did not know that there would be a light for low wiper fluid, assumed you just knew it was low when nothing came out:yeah:

Does it look something like this?
If so then it is your low coolant warning light.

    No worries mate,

the genIII v8 must use the HOLDEN GENUINE COOLANT.
dont know exactly why but it is also designed to last 5 years as well....but its for other reasons.

as minux said if the coolant is wrong it sets the warning lights and all that like a christmas tree
