I have a 2007 VE Omega. Every so often whilst driving, the warning chime goes off, with a momentary change in the display screen, then everything goes back to normal. The warning displays so quick that we have not been able to see what it says. The overspeed is not on. I have read the owners manual and cannot see what this particular warning could be. There is no residual message left on the bottom of the screen as states happens for most warnings. The car appears to be operating normally, and there appears to be no pattern as to when the warning appears. Has any one had a similiar problem?
its when a subsystem fault code is logged into its control unit, it will display it on the dash for a split second and then act normally... if you got your fault codes checked at your next service you will see about 10 codes logged but not present
VE Error Codes Can the codes be read similar to my old VS. If so how can they be read on the VE, and is there a list of codes available?
How do you replace the warning chime in VT. Drove with the handbrake on and no warning chime. Just bought it.
CD Error? Hi, I have had an irregular warning chime that sounds similar. I eventually got to see what it was, and it was a CD error. The CD ejected, and then re-entered and all was OK. Only happened when CD was not playing. Maybe yours is the same.
