unsure what the black hose on top of my vl rb30 gearbox goes??

hi guys im unsure where the hose goes from the spot im pointing to to the engine. my question is where does the hose connect to from this spot. cheers

Pics didn't work. But if its a small black vacuum lookin hose it's only a breather and connects to nothing.
