moving to this thread from my ride.

I want to upgrade my VY II V6 3.8L Berlina. I wanted to know what i should do. Any ideas would be great. Keep in mind i am a P plater so budget is limited as is full potential.

    What i want to do:

    Super-low kingsprings
Darkest legal window tint (dealer ripped us off when they did it)
    17" Mags (GTS Maybe)
Exhaust system (engine tone) - Headers or muffler first?

First off, you do know that your car does not have an alloytec v6 in it dont you? The alloytec its 3.6 litre quad came v6 first introduced in vz, your vy has a 3.8 litre cast iron ecotec in it.. you probably know thats and its so joke you havin or somethin.. for 17 inch mags for your vy you would be looking at something from a vt-vz ss as gts are 18 and bigger i think. If you only want engine note a cat back exhaust will do you, but if u want power u can get a whole exhaust sytem and headers, probably a bit of a waste of money unless you are planning bigger and better mods tho ie supercharging.

    Hey Mate

For the rims, like someone mentioned go either VY SS or VZ SS, cause GTS are in 18" unless you want 18" which i would go, VY looks really nice lowered with 18" alloys, also with the exaust go a 2 1/2" catback to start off with, then later on you could get some extractors, etc.

    Good luck with it mate
