I have a Pioneer DEH-P6750MP headunit at the moment, just running my stock VS speakers.

I am looking to upgrade to splits, a sub, 4ch amp and an ipod adaptor. I was just curious if all these components can be run off my headunit (only has 2 RCA's i think)?

Any feedback would be apprecated.

Nath.

Two RCA outs is all good.
You would use the front RCA outs for the splits to channels 1 and 2, and the Sub/Non fade out for your subs bridged over channels 3+4. This would leave the rears unamped but rears are a waste of money anyway.

The P tells me that your HU is indeed I-pod adapter compatible, but they arent cheap. From Pioneer website: The DEH-P6750MP can be controlled with the CD-IB100II through "External Unit Control", with some limitations in operation and display.
Maybe you could try getting the older CD-IB100 2nd hand or something

Cheers for that. BTW, can u use the ipod itself rather than using the headunit to control the ipod's functions?
