urgent car died after installing rockers

i installed 1.97 roller rockers today and followed all the instructions and cleaned my throttle body whilst it was off, put it all back together now my car wont start it turns of then nothing

i didn't think you had to remove the throttle body to change the rockers?

double check you reconnected all sensors, hoses & plugs, then post back.

just tried to start it again and it sounded lk it had a little back fire but still wouldnt start

Try and replace with old Rockers. If it starts maybe the valves are staying open and may need to replace Lifters because they aren't compressing enough..

just put the old ones back in took less than a hour to do and works fine now started first go have test cranking it first..
So whay doesnt the new one work?

You replaced the push rods? so they are the correct length for rockets that high a ratio?

Make sure your engine doesn't have overcasting where the pushrods sit. The pushrods might be touching the overcasting which in turn prevents them from working preventing car from starting. Crow cam do slim design pushrods which are recommended for ecotecs.

the guy at fit said i wouldnt need to purchase the pushrods it would be fine..
im pretty sure it all fit in good had alright clearance

Also when i was manualy cranking the engine after fitting the 1.97 there was a pinging/tinging sound coming from the spring i think, but didnt do that after i installed the old rockers back in
