    Hey guys,

Sorry for the urgentness.... But im trying to fix my fuel pump issue tonight before a big drive tomorrow.

Basic question... Ive got a sender unit from a VS commodore thats exactly the same as my VR, however the wiring is slightly different. Mine is worn and has seen better days.

At the moment the VR version has a 2 plug and 3 plug connector (fuel pump itself and gauge sender respectively). The new sender unit has a single 4 pin connector....

If i install the new VS sender, will it just be a matter of changing the wiring or am i asking for trouble?

    Cheers, Errol.

if you have the wiring diagrams from both the vr and vs. it should be easy. just add your recquired grounds and mount them on the body. and make sure the power wire and the reading wire are all accurate.
