urgent gear box help

im just pulling the gearbox out of my 89model vn commodore and would just like to know how i drain it. when i pulled the tail shaft out very little oil came out.is there a drain plug or anything like that. any help or tips apprectiated.
i need to have this one out and new one in bye tommorrow so can some one plz reply.

The auto box does not have a drain plug. You have to remove the pan. You slowly undo one end and drain by slowly dropping the pan out.

manual or auto? manual has a drain bung.
auto doesnt as mongoose said undo the bolts and let the fluid come out the back
