how did it snap?
could it be welded or did it snap from excessive rust?

maybe ring all your mates and see if they know anyone with a welder that could help you out.
a slab goes a long way.

yer, hit a bump and it just poped. it lookes a bit rusted out....i might see how the mates can go with a welder...does it take much effort getting that part of the exhaust out ??? i know it all looks pretty tight in there..

shouldnt be too hard.
pretty sure its a flanged joint at each end.
exhaust manifold - flange - pipe - flange - cat

should just be 4 bolts to get the section of pipe out.

i pulled it off today, the pipe flares and has a bracked that fastens it to the manifold. the cat it joined to the same peice of pipe and has a flange that connects to the rest of the system just after the cat. is this what you have ??? im really keen to find one tonight so i can drive to work tomorrow...
