Hey guys I'm knew here I'm just away on holidays , my car needed a jump start 2 days ago, had to get jumped again yesterday, my abs, traction control are coming up with warnings, my headunit is going on and off, my speedo, fuel, and temperature gauge is going off and on.

I have a trailer on the back of my car as well, just towing 2 kayaks, is the car safe to drive home? I was hoping it was my battery or alternator.

Thank you

Check you battery terminals. Could be loose.

Can u check voltage across the battery?

Check connections n earth, a multimeter will tell you if its your alternator...

Sounds like your battery might not be holding onto its charge overnight.

I know this sounds crazy but I had an issue with the stupid heater fan resistor going "leaky" i.e. it was ON (a tiny bit) all the time, even when the ignition was off. Turn everything off and have a listen, the fan may be running. It was enough to flatten the battery overnight.

Had another issue when I fitted an aftermarket Bluetooth that spliced into the head wiring. It used an ISO standard connector the didn't recognise the speed signal (for the speed dependant volume control) and somehow that was upsetting the ECU. Consequently, all sorts of strange warning lights etc. Check some of the connectors under the dash. May just be loose

Agreed, alternator and may as well be the battery as I'm sure stray AC injection isn't doing any favours to the system.
