Ok well i have got a mate that is gonna install my system (if you can call it that ) on wednesday arvo. So far i have a Sony HU, And a cheap pair of Kenwood 6" speakers ( they rrp for $80 ). Im looking at buying some Jaycar Splits for the front doors. But should i buy some new 6" speakers that are a bit better and put them in my shelf rather than the kenwood 6" i already have ??? If possible around $150
Thanks in advance.

yeh, just fade your HU mostly to the front. You only really need good fronts if you really need to beb surrounded by your music, or if you care heaps about your rear passengers

yup, go the jaycar 6.5" splits in the front. when it's all in fade out your rear speakers to about 30% of what the fronts are generating. I dunno if the jaycar's will fit straight in like a glove, but hey there'll be plenty of ways round it.
