Urgent question on a installing a head unit

    Hey guys, im new to this website!

    Just curious i have lately purchased a Pioneer Stereo Head Unit for my 95 VR, and i want to install it now me and my mate have tried our hardest to find out how to take off the dash.

    My question is, "How do i install the head unit?"
    Problem: I know how to wire it up but what shuld i take apart to install the head unit where the original stereo goes in my VR!

    Thanks guys would love help asap.

    There are a couple of how-tos on this forum, but the jist of it is as follows:
    Star by pulling the ashtray out (the thing above your [PWR} button). Then shift the car back to 2 (make sure you are pasrked on a flat and have the handbrake on) and pull the shifter surround out. Tape down/mark the clear numbered bit next to your shister so that it goes back in the right position.

    After that its as simple as unscrewing every screw you see and just pulling. It may seem rough, but its pretty hard to break the plastic interior bits.
