was thinking about ute hard lids since my ute did not come with one and am searching for one which a genuine one would be preferred and was wondering that other then the weight, would there be any signs of a genuine hard lid over a fiberglass lid?

Genuine lids are fibreglass, and will have a 'Holden' plate with a serial number..

That could be genuine, dunno. Mine is a bit different and has a serial number.

What ? The serial number ? Doubt it. I would not be pulling that plate off looking for it.
If that is the underside, it is completely different to mine. No mouldings that look like that, and it has a carpet-like covering.
