That plate shown above would be from a VE/VF Hardlid which are totally different underneath and on top. Genuine Holden VU-Z Hardlids are fibreglass. If you're in Melbourne I have a genuine one for sale at the moment in Impulse Blue.

the picture i sent is the one i bought, it is actually sitting on a VZ SS right now and will be shipped to me soon so i know it will fit mine (at least i hope so) with that being said i hope it is a genuine one, but thanks for the offer though

Actually on second look too thats probably a twin hump hard lid. As they had a different underside to the earlier 'flat' lids.

The dealers usually fit them, so it cant be too hard!:D

They're a slightly different method to the series one lids I've always had. But its literally still 8 self tappers for the lid itself. Just measure twice drill once.
